IDA is a drop-off program that meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am-3:20pm.

Our goal is to have no homework, especially in the younger elementary grades. The older elementary grades should expect very light homework. Middle school should expect some moderate work on at-home days.

Twice per week, we will offer History, Science, and PE. Once per week, we offer Bible, Missions & World Cultures along with Robotics, Art, Music and Spanish. Classes subject to change.
Middle school offers an element of class choice. Parents can help their students choose appropriate courses that meet their needs and desires for their education!

Yes! They are grouped based on their age and will travel to each class together. They get to spend all day together building bonds and learning alongside each other! Assistants will be in the hall to make sure they know where they are going between class periods.

IDA does not use an entire line of a single curriculum. However, we have a passion for curating a curriculum that incorporates sound theology and engaging topics. We have a team that identifies and approves curriculum choices for the school.

We love that homeschooling provides the flexibility to differentiate for different learners. We find that these two subjects are best served in the home with the ability to differentiate for your child’s needs. If you need resources or ideas on how to teach a certain type of learner, please let us know. We’d love to help brainstorm with you!

We do not at this moment. However, we know this is an underserved area in our community. Each family is unique and we are happy to have a conversation about how we can best serve your family.

We require that at least one parent in the home be an active member of a local church that adheres to the Nicene Creed. This is a requirement of our teachers, staff, and families at IDA.
